Krugersdorp Sports Club is the home of Rugby. The Westrand Harlequins Senior Rugby Division caters for players 19 years and older, while the Juniors at the club welcome players from the age of 6 to 18. Both our divisions are affiliated to the Golden Lions Rugby Union.
The unveiling of our floodlights was a HUGE success. The celebration saw our Junior players give it their all on the field with a practice session in the various age groups. They were then mesmerised by the lights and sirens of the Security and Medical vehicles that drove around the field in a convoy, lighting up the night sky.
The excitement grew as the Mogale City Mayor, Mr Tyrone Gray, officially switched on the floodlights and gave our players something to look forward to.
The celebration would not be possible was it not for a group of very special people and businesses.
